Request for clarifications presented by four lawyers were rejected

In the Ordinary Session held on Monday morning, the plenary dealt with the requests for clarification from lawyers Pablo Bareiro, Elsa Elizabeth Idoyaga, Hermelinda Alvarenga de Ortega and Edgar Sosa Gómez, within the framework of the selection process for positions to Members of the Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE).

The Council of the Judiciary, after externalizing the grounds pertaining to what was resolved in the Ordinary Session on Monday, May 3, decided not to accept the appeals for clarification raised by said professional lawyers.

In this way, the applicants for the selection process for the positions of Members of the Superior Court of Electoral Justice are the following: 1- Nuria Isnardi; 2- Laura Villalba Benitez; 3- Pedro Arias; 4- Cesar Rossell; 5 Edgar Urbieta; 6- Jorge Bogarin Gonzalez; 7- Emilio Camacho; 8- Arnaldo López Echagüe; 9- Cristian Rivas Kiese; 10- Ramon Ferreira Ruiz; 11- Mirta Fretes Arrow; 12- Carlos Maria Aquino; 13- Luis Centurion Escobar; 14- Dinah Marchuk; 15- Bartholomew Dominguez; 16- Myriam Cristaldo, 17- Gustavo López Benítez and 18- María Verónica Franco.

At the end of the session, the preliminary scores of the suitability evaluation were published in the respective profiles of the applicants for Members of the TSJE.

The scores assigned were on a) undergraduate and postgraduate merits; b) teaching experience; c) professional experience in law or the judiciary, d) dissertations and publications.
