“The dramaturgy evokes divergent features on the exercise of memory, from the symbolic, absurd, historical, even experimental; also taking it towards metaphorism -an aspect that pleases me very much- proposing a present look at those memories, traces, nostalgia that crossed us and will continue to do so”, words of the author of the work Carlitos Canetewho won weeks ago the Edda de los Ríos Award with his sole proprietorship “recently blind”in the category Best Social Work.
The plot places the viewer in a timeless limbo with no apparent aesthetic line (it is not known if what is being seen corresponds to what will continue to happen). Three presences announce their soliloquies and, as happens in dreams, we find ourselves after that, in a printing press where what, without knowing it, would be the last issue of the war newspaper “El Sentinel” is being prepared.
Finally, the circle of memory is opened and defragmented in anachronism: Memories have weight and yet they support a universal lightness.
The staging is directed by María Liz Barrios and the cast is made up of Alma Quiñónez, Miguel Solís, Nancy Martínez, José Mazó and Carlitos Cañete.
