The Productive Recovery and Support Program (REPRO), which leads the Ministry of Labor to assist companies in critical condition, will reopen registration starting today.
This, as notified by the ministry, in order to deliver, through the Programa subsidy for salaries accrued in April, so registrations to the REPRO They will be open until May 1.
It should be remembered that through REPRO, The Government will assign to the beneficiary companies an amount not exceeding half of the Minimum Vital and Mobile Salary for each employee.which is currently $38,940.
In other words, a maximum subsidy of $19,470 per employee will be granted to companies that meet the new conditions to join the productive recovery program.
Among them, it will be a requirement that each company present an economic, productive and labor recovery plan; Also, it is a condition that the company has been established for more than 6 months, at the time of making the request.
The Government will not grant the subsidy to employers who receive other aid from the State, provinces or municipalities, nor to workers who receive a total remuneration greater than four times the current Minimum Vital and Mobile Salary.
In other words, the worker cannot receive more than $155,760 in April in order to receive the benefit, which with the modifications set by the ministry, will now only be delivered for 2 periods that may or may not be consecutive.
The subsidy will be granted for a maximum of 3 months, as long as the employers comply with all the conditions and program requirements which was updated from last week.
What requirements are demanded in the REPRO
To apply within the preselection criteria to the programthis establishes that the billing and payroll dates of the companies that want to access the benefit will be March 2019 and 2022.
However, billing should not be considered for companies started on or after January 1, 2019. In addition, the month selected to establish the payroll and reference salaries will be last March.
