Representative Zambrano: Constitutional reform is viable based on a national dialogue

The deputy of the National Assembly (AN), Timoteo Zambrano, considered that a constitutional reform will only be viable through a large national dialogue, as it is a very broad subject.

This was expressed this Tuesday, after the first meeting of the Constitutional Table of the Special Commission to Review Electoral Laws and Regulations, where representatives of the political parties that took part in the presidential elections on July 28 participated.

He emphasized that the constitutional reform should remain, in his opinion, at a different stage, when working on the new dialogue, in the search for a national pact or a State pact.

“A new dialogue not based on the conflict, but based on the most urgent issues that the country needs. “Let it be a pact for 10, 15, 20 years, that allows us to have stability, governability and alternation,” he said, referring to a press release of the AN.

He indicated that when reforming electoral laws, the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (CRBV) is respected and consulted. He added that they will prepare a document to present at the next meeting of the Special Commission for the Reform of Electoral Laws.

“The direction is Bolivarian Socialism of the 21st Century”

In another order of ideas, parliamentarian Fernando Soto Rojas pointed out that a defined strategy is necessary to consolidate the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, since the direction is Bolivarian Socialism of the 21st Century, with the objective of consolidating the struggle of all the people as basis of resistance against the logic of capital.

He affirmed that the nation is in its best historical moment, since it has a powerful organized Popular Power, allies in the world, with more than 100 years of Aboriginal resistance, 300 of the Spanish Empire and 200 of the Republican era.

“We are united by the Bolivarian doctrine and that is why our horizon is victory,” said deputy Soto Rojas during the plenary session of the AN this Tuesday, where Commander Hugo Chávez Frías was remembered on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of his perfect electoral victory of the October 7, 2012.

Soto Rojas stressed that he feels optimistic about the destiny of the Venezuelan people and considers that Commander Chávez reached the depths of ordinary men, in whom he achieved a strategic reorganization that crystallized in the Bolivarian Revolution, anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist, eco-socialist and Chavista. .
