Henry Chavez, host of the program Face to face who also unexpectedly left TV Peru, through his Twitter account, spoke about the situation of the reporter.

On August 18, 2021, the young TV Peru reporter, Tiffany Tipianiwas violently pushed aside by the president’s security personnel peter castle.
The act of aggression occurred when the reporter was trying to place the microphone to capture the answers that the president was giving about his meeting with Mayor Jorge Muñoz and about the appointment of the new Minister of Foreign Affairs, after the resignation of Héctor Béjar.
The National Association of Journalists (ANP) rejected the aggression suffered by the journalistfor which he asked that the Government be respectful of the press and that it be a guarantor of access to information.
“It is urgent that the new government assume respectful conduct towards journalists and the media, guarantee access to information and journalistic activity. The aggressor must be subjected to a disciplinary process. Attacks on journalists and/or obstructions to coverage should not go unpunished”, he pointed out at the time.
