this report would be part of a follow-up according to the intelligence activities carried out against the members of a criminal organization dedicated to crimes against public peace, against life, body and health. A group that would carry out hired assassination work and would have as its personal objective the National Police and prosecutors members of the EFICCOP.
This criminal organization would be led by a person nicknamed as “The Spanish”also know as Jorge either Jorge Fernandezwho would be “a foreign citizen with great decision-making influence in the management of the current government,” the document details.
The main objectives would be the prosecutor of the Nation, Patricia BenavidezColonel PNP Harvey Colchado and the colonel Walter Lozano Pajuelo, all of them involved in the investigations carried out by the Public Ministry to the Head of State and his family and political circle. Also is warned as a target of this organization to the effective collaborators who have been collaborating with the MP.
The report details that due to the security it has Patricia Benavidezthis organization would be making arrangements with graduates and reservists of the Armed Forces, self-styled ethnocacerist military assets linked to the Government with the aim of attacking against the husband and children of the prosecutor of the Nation.
Last August 10, Patricia Benavidez gave a message accompanied by other representatives of the Public Ministry where she already referred to alleged threats against her and some of her relatives: “I have learned that attacks are being orchestrated against me and my family that only seek to dent or hinder tax investigations. We have also witnessed the attack on one of the prosecutors carrying out this investigation.”
