Report 166 cases of covid-19 and one deceased on #14Apr

The total records of covid-19 in 760 days from the beginning of the management against the pandemic in Venezuela indicate that 521,880 infections are recorded, with 514,477 recovered, 5,699 deceased and 1,704 currently active cases


The Presidential Commission for the Prevention, Care and Control of covid-19 reported this Thursday, April 14, that 166 new cases were detected and one death from this disease was recorded.

In the midst of a significant mobilization of seasonal workers throughout the country for the Easter holiday, Venezuela is facing a low curve of covid-19 cases according to information issued by the government of Nicolás Maduro.

According to these figures, 165 of the cases of covid-19 detected were registered in the national territory, specifically in Aragua (62), Barinas (37), Zulia (23), Miranda (20), Falcón (7), Bolívar (4) , Carabobo (3), Capital District (3), Monagas (2), Yaracuy (1), Mérida (1), Delta Amacuro (1) and Portuguesa (1).

On the other hand, the remaining case corresponds to a Venezuelan who returned to the country from abroad. She arrived at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, in Vargas, from Turkey.

Vice President Delcy Rodríguez detailed, through his Twitter accountthe infections detected in Aragua, the entity with the most cases of covid-19 on this day.

Cases were registered in six of the 18 municipalities of the entity. The distribution was as follows: Camatagua (24), Bolívar (20), Girardot (11), Zamora (4), Francisco Linares Alcántara (2) and Ocumare de la Costa (1).

On the other hand, Rodríguez reported on the death of a person during the day. This is a 54-year-old man who lived in Trujillo.
