Several health regions received new equipment such as multiparametric monitors, whether for the operating room, intensive care, emergency room and diagnostic room areas of their health establishments.
The health portfolio reported that the devices will strengthen areas of the operating room, neonatal and adult intensive care, emergency room and diagnostic room, respectively.
According to the details, the equipment consists of a monitor that shows several of the patient’s vital signs on the same screen, such as respiratory rate, invasive and non-invasive pressure, oxygen saturation, carbon dioxide, among others.
In this context, in Asunción, the Barrio Obrero General Hospital received 5 multiparametric monitors; as well as INERAM, received 13 teams with the same characteristics.
It is worth mentioning that months ago, a total of 11 pieces of equipment had already been delivered to said establishment, one of the reference centers for the treatment of patients with COVID-19.
To the XI Sanitary Region – Central, 26 monitors were delivered, which will benefit the 19 head services of the department. On the other hand, the regional hospital of the IV Sanitary Region – Guairá also received four teams.

* Regional Hospital of Caacupé, of the III Sanitary Region – Cordillera.
* Regional Hospital of Coronel Oviedo, of the V Sanitary Region – Caaguazú.
* Caazapá Regional Hospital and San Juan Nepomuceno District Hospital, of the VI Sanitary Region – Caazapá.
* Encarnación Regional Hospital, Coronel Bogado District Hospital and Fram District Hospital, of the VII Sanitary Region – Itapúa.
* Regional Hospital of San Juan Bautista and District Hospital of San Ignacio, of the VIII Sanitary Region – Misiones.
