commercial rentals
According to the FIRA report, there was a large increase in the prices of rentals in terms of business premises. Although some remained as last year.
As the image below shows, the three types of trading units varied differentially. Those that increased the most were those located on the periphery and in the microcenter of the jurisdictions.
Iván Orozco, 2nd Vice President and General Coordinator of the FIRA Statistical Data Collection Commission explained that: “We believe that this is due to the need for businesses to leave these nodes seeking a lower fixed cost and greater competitiveness as a way of shoveling the crisis”.
“In the second instance, the local micro-centers of the different jurisdictions went up and finally the locals of alternative centers or neighborhoods of the provinces. Considering that the survey analyzes average values and from these the federal median line is estimated, the increase resulting from the first eight months of the year analyzed show an average increase of 19%, well below real inflation. This is directly related to the lack of activity in the purchase and sale market in this area”, concluded Orozco.
