The renowned doctor in neurology, Jose Silie Ruizpassed away this Sunday after just over two weeks admitted for pneumonia.
Silie Ruiz was treated in the Diagnostic Center, Advanced Medicine and Telemedicine (Cedimat) for 15 days.
The famed neurologist trained at the Institute of Neurology in London, where he achieved the degree of Fellow Researcher. In addition, Silié was awarded the 2019 National Medicine Award, awarded by the Academy of Sciences of the Dominican Republic.
