The spokesperson for Popular Renewal, Jorge Montoyareported that this Tuesday, March 8, he will present the presidential vacancy motion against peter castlewhich so far has 40 signatures.
In dialogue with Canal N, Montoya explained that they expected to collect 52 signatures, to ensure that the initiative is admitted for debate and the head of state appears before the national representation, but that they have decided to present the motion with the signatures that are available.
“We have 40 signatures since Thursday, but we have not presented it yet because we want to have as many as possible, the most appropriate date was tomorrow, but we are frozen with the issue. More will be added this Monday.” said.

“Tomorrow we will present the vacancy motion with the signatures we have. There are congressmen who still do not understand that the interests of Peru are above all”, he added.
Regarding the vote of confidence in the Cabinet of Aníbal Torres, the spokesman for the Renewal caucus said that Congress has already given confidence to two cabinets “in vain” because the Executive was unable to give the country governability. Along these lines, he reiterated that they will not trust the ministerial team.
“Congress has given confidence to two cabinets in vain, we are going to have the same position as before, we are not going to give confidence”he referred.
The Popular Renovation bench presented, in the vacancy motion, a total of 18 points to be evaluated by other benches and comment if they wanted to add something additional to the vacancy motion.
