The National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec) announced that on Friday, December 26 and Saturday, December 27, it will provide services to the public in more than 50 locations located in different regions of the country. During these days, the entity will offer services linked to the National Identity Document (DNI), including issuance, renewal, duplication and delivery.
The offices that will be operational during these dates will operate at different times, according to each office. To consult the complete list of locations and specific shifts, citizens must enter the official link enabled by the registration entity.
Among the procedures available is the issuance of the electronic DNI, whose cost valid until December 31, 2025 is S/30 for adults and S/16 for minors. Meanwhile, the renewal of the document has a price of S/41 and the duplicate is processed for S/33.
These payments can be made through the Reniec virtual platform or through Yape, using the “Yapear services > Reniec” option, which allows the payment to be made directly.
To start any process linked to the DNI, a payment ticket must first be generated through the portal: collection.reniec.gob.pe/recaudacionTasas/. On the platform, the user must choose the code of the procedure they need and finish the procedure by entering the ticket number associated with the payment made.
After completing this step, the citizen will be able to go to the corresponding office to continue with the requested procedure.
Reniec has also enabled its official social networks to respond to quick queries from users. Likewise, the ALO Reniec telephone line is available at 315 4000 (annex 1900), where guidance is provided on the available services and opening hours on December 26 and 27.
