René Polanco highlights enthusiasm raised PLD candidacies

The leader of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), René Polanco highlighted the drive and enthusiasm around his return as mayor of Santo Domingo Norte and the presidential candidacy of Abel Martínez.

Polanco spoke after presiding over a large assembly where he received the support of dozens of members of the Central Committee, president of Intermedios and people from the bases committed to the return of good management and a vision of progress to the Santo Domingo Norte Mayor’s Office.

Speaking at the meeting, the so-called “Compliant Manager” stated that he has decided to return as a candidate for Mayor of Santo Domingo Norte because it hurts him to see the municipality that saw him grow back down due to the abandonment of the neighborhoods of Sabana Perdida, Villa Mella and Guaricans.

In the emotional meeting held in Sabana Perdida, the leaders promised to work tirelessly for the candidates of the purple party.

Likewise, the works carried out during the PLD administration stood out, as evidenced by the more than 150 paved neighborhoods thanks to the fact that they were intervened with sidewalks, curbs and primers during the 2016-2020 period and with the support of then President Danilo Medina.
