Renato Gaúcho, Fluminense coach who is the revelation of the Club World Cup, said Monday that his team does not conform to have reached the semifinals against Chelsea and said he wants to continue giving surprises in the tournament.
“Fluminense is playing a beautiful Club World Cup and it is a privilege to be training this team and this template. We are here to make history”he said at a press conference at the Metlife Stadium by East Rutherford (New Jersey, USA), which will host this semifinal on Tuesday.
“From the first day we said that we had to believe in our work and in our workforce respecting the opponents. We have faced powerful rivals with more budget, but football decides in the field. So we have to respect the opponent but have that attitude,” Renato Gaúcho added.
The Brazilian coach said he is very happy with his players because “They are giving it” All on the pitch. “But we are not here just to participate: we are here to win”, insisted.

Regarding his rival for a position in the final, Gaucho did not save praise to Chelsea: “They have a very powerful attack and their full squad is wonderful, but specifically in their attack capacity they have very fast strikers and extremes and have a center of the field that drives the game very well.”
