Remittances slow down for the second consecutive month

The average sending of remittances to Mexico during September was 395 dollars per transaction.

In the accumulated from January to September, remittances totaled 42,965 million dollars, 15% more than in the same period of 2021.

In the third quarter of the year, a historical record in the sending of remittances was registered, since in the last five months monthly remittances have exceeded 5,000 million dollars.

Jalisco, Michoacán and Guanajuato were the three entities that so far in 2022 have received the largest amount of remittances.
