Relatives held a new vigil to ask for the freedom of political prisoners and to be with them at Christmas
The Committee for the Freedom of Political Prisoners, led by Andreina Baduel, led a vigil on the night of Monday, December 17 at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) in which they asked, in addition to the cessation of persecution and the release of their loved ones, paid tribute to the three detained in the framework of the post-election protests who died in state custody.
As in previous activities, relatives arranged a series of candles forming the word “justice”, while they arranged posters of the detainees to raise prayers for their speedy release.

The Venezuelan Prisons Observatory (OVP) denounced on the morning of Monday December 16 the death of political prisoner Osgual Alexander González Pérez, 43 years old, who was arrested on August 1 in the state of Lara during the post-election protests.
