Pressure from State Security
Relatives of political prisoner Andy García, a protester on July 11, 2021 (11J) in Villa Clara, emphasized the pressure from prison authorities and State Security within the island’s prisons, where there are numerous threats against inmates.
This Tuesday, Bárbara Farrat Guillén, mother of Jonathan Torres Farrat, another young 11J protester imprisoned since last year, denied the reports released by López.
“The Humberto López thing, more than a clowning, is a way of making fun of us relatives,” Farrat told CubaNet after seeing the images released by the spokesman.
