After 9:30 this Monday, the announced caravan of social sectors related to the Movement for Socialism (MAS) in Santa Cruz left the Palmasola refinery for the Santa Cruz Governorate, where They will ask for the resignation of Governor Luis Fernando Camachoone of the main figures in the fight for the census in 2023.

Unlocking all the waking points in its path and with chants that refer “We want to work” and “Camacho resigns now”, the march adds support from people who reject the strike in different parts of the city, despite the weather conditions that do not favor the measure.

In the Guapurú Market (Three Thousand Plan), El Bateón (Pampa de la Isla) and Satélite Norte, groups related to the MAS were also concentrated to achieve mobilization. In addition, it is known that another group of carriers are meeting in the fourth ring road of Virgen de Cotoca avenue and then fence the Industrial Park.

This march of social sectors against Governor Luis Fernando Camacho and civic leader Rómulo Calvo it was announced on Sunday by the Minister of Public Works, Édgar Montaño. “The transportation brothers, trade unionists have asked us that tomorrow (Monday) they can be protected, because they are already tired of Mr. Camacho and Mr. Calvo. They are going to go out in a big march, ”he assured.

The indefinite strike due to the census in 2023 is executed after the term that the massive council of September 30 gave the Government to repeal Supreme Decree 4760, which establishes the great national survey by 2024.

The deadline expired on October 21, as there was no response, the radical protest started on the 22nd, throughout the department.
