The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, carried out an inspection at the Doctor Ramón Díaz Sánchez Bolivarian National Basic Unit, which is located in La Quebradita.
This, in order to monitor the progress of the Military Community Brigades (Bricomiles) from the education sector, in charge of rehabilitating schools both in the city of Caracas and in the rest of the country.
“On a tour this #10Ago through educational centers in Caracas, starting with the Doctor Ramón Díaz Sánchez Bolivarian National Basic Unit, in La Quebradita, where we supervise the progress in the transformation of this infrastructure,” wrote the mayor of Caracas in her account in the Twitter social network.
In this sense, he pointed out that the rehabilitation will be done progressively, in order to provide optimal facilities for all students who will return in the new school period.
“We will not rest until rehabilitate all schools in Caracasand for this we are carrying out work in which the Bricomiles play a very important role, as well as the different institutions that sponsor these educational centers, “stressed the mayor.
It should be remembered that, specifically, 1,254 Bricomiles are deployed throughout the capital city, in order to work on the rehabilitation of 1,343 schools.
The Bricomiles were created at the end of June by the President Nicolas Maduroin order to recover the infrastructures of both educational centers and health centers throughout the national territory.
With this, a timely response is given to citizen complaints, through the Venapp application, in this matter.
