Starting this Friday the 10th you can access the form to enroll in the second phase of the Job Opportunity program, also known as Jornales Solidarios.
Until Friday June 17 (at 12:00 hours) there is a deadline to register for the form. Later, From June 22 to 27, the draw for applicants will take place. Each departmental government will define the exact date and will personally notify the people drawn.
The program makes available 10 thousand quotas for temporary jobs. The beneficiaries will work 12 days and will receive an amount of $12,500. Tasks will be done from july to october in all departments of the country.
The program is aimed at people unoccupied from among 18 and 65 yearswith identity card, do not receive any wage benefitsneither public nor private no subsidy due to unemployment, illness, retirement, pension or other retribution of a personal nature.
However, beneficiaries of the Ministry of Social Development (Mides), such as those who have the Uruguay Social card, will be able to participate as well as those who have participated in the first edition of the program.
Also, from the third month of participation, Beneficiaries may exceptionally carry out a complementary work activityin the private sector, for a maximum of eight days monthly.
On the other hand, the period in which the beneficiaries participate in the program will be computed by the Social Security Bank (BPS) as activity for retirement and pension purposes, under the affiliation “Industry and Commerce”; reported the website. This will only enable the perception of subsidies for maternity, for common illness and work accident.
The beneficiaries have the right to free medical care through the services of the State Health Services Administration (ASSE) throughout the country.
The web portal also highlighted that with the data entered in the form, a national registry of applicants will be created to guide future training and job reconversion actions.
