According to the International Labor Organization, in the last 10 years the unemployment rate of the young population was on average three times higher than that of the adult population; a gap that accounts for the magnitude of the difference in employment opportunities between the two groups.
The lack of work experience is a conditioning factor when it comes to finding a first job, even more so if young people are in a situation of economic vulnerability.
In this sense, with the aim of promoting youth employment, Fundación Forge offers scholarships to participate in the Tu Futuro training program, where the focus is on the development of socio-emotional and digital skills, aligned to the needs of companies.
During 2022, Fundación Forge reached a total of 10,000 young graduates with 65% job placement with partner companies.
