Registration for the Virtual History Olympiad is open until the 14th

The 2nd National Olympics in History of Brazil Open for All (ONHB-A) is open for registration until next Friday (14). The event is a version online and free trial of the National Olympics in History of Brazil (ONHB), held by the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), which is available to anyone over 12 years old.Registration for the Virtual History Olympiad is open until the 14th

The objective of the project is to expand knowledge about the history of our country to students and an audience that is not necessarily connected to any school environment.

400 one-year scientific initiation scholarships, worth R$100 per month, will be offered to students from public schools who achieve the best performances.

The Olympiad is divided into four disciplines. One of them is the “individual” that accepts the independent application of anyone aged 12 or over. In the group category, teams of friends and family with two to six people are accepted, as long as those registered are at least 12 years old.

For schools, there are “private school” and “public school” modalities, in which groups formed by a teacher and three students from elementary (7th to 9th grade), high school or youth and adult education (EJA) can apply. .

The idea is that teams from school modalities use ONBH-A to prepare for the next edition of ONBH, which will take place in 2023.

ONBH-A will have three phases with five multiple-choice questions and one task. The fourth step will feature a main task. To register and get information about the tests, just access the site from the project.
