Registration for the ANDE Financial Education Workshops for Rural Women

Registration for the ANDE Financial Education Workshops for Rural Women

This initiative arose last year due to the concern of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP), which identified the need that existed in rural women to be sensitized in financial education, and the offer of the program of the National Development Agency (ANDE ) on this subject, for which he requested support from the Agency.

ANDE is the one who carries out and finances these workshops, which are carried out with trainers who were certified by the ILO (International Labor Organization). 200 rural women have already been trained throughout the country, and this year it is expected to reach more beneficiaries.

The workshops are given in virtual mode (online) or face-to-face. They are free and are aimed at rural women who have an ongoing enterprise, a business idea and/or for people who lead small businesses who can make financial decisions about it. The training is from “scratch”, that is to say that it is not necessary to know about finances, since knowledge is built on the basis of experiences.

The courses have a dynamic and simple methodology, which allows you to quickly learn the financial keys to optimally manage the company’s finances. They are dictated online or in person and last approximately 25 hours. There are trainers across the country and various workshops on various dates, which can be found on the registration form. Registrations are made until the day before the start of each workshop. The next starts are 6/21, 6/28 and 7/19, notwithstanding that new schedules may be opened.

The training is oriented to the following topics: personal finances and company finances; effectively manage your budget; know savings products; use credit products intelligently and avoid over-indebtedness; use the means of payments and transfers; know the financial institutions and how to relate to them; manage risks and understand savings products. There is a specific module for entrepreneurs or people who are thinking of starting a business.
