Santo Domingo.- Regional Education 15, directed by Rafael Amador Figaris, held the workshop on “Systematization of Pedagogical Processes for the Improvement of Learning”, in order to establish the institutional lines for the next school year 2022-2023.
In his speech, Amador Figaris stated that the main objective of the workshop is to give continuity to the Systematization of Pedagogical Processes, which are carried out in all modalities, levels and programs, in educational centers to improve learning.
He also stressed that this socialization meeting will be carried out by the 18 Regionals, with the purpose of strengthening the methods that are implemented in schools and colleges, under the new model “Education for Better Living”, promoted by the president of the Republic, Luis Abinader, and left Roberto Fulcar Encarnación installed, and continues to materialize with the new minister of education, Dr. Ángel Hernández.
«It is the first time that we will have systematized in a technological way all the pedagogical actions, and thus be able to access information more quickly and easily. We will be working as before, under the same line, and we will have the same language, to guarantee a comprehensive quality education », he pointed out.
The training was given by the Regional team, in the P. Julio Soto room of the Salesian Technical Institute (Itesa), today, Friday, August 19.
The workshop discussed the tools to accurately and clearly achieve the components and elements, and the roles of all teaching technicians in this new process of technological innovation and/or digital transformation.
The members of the management team of Regional 15, made up of its director, Rafael Amador Figaris, the deputy director of the Regional, Alexander Castro; the coordinator of the Initial Level, Xiomara Calzado; the person in charge of Human Resources, Scarly Rivera and the person in charge of Planning, Pedro Duarte, as well as the coordinators of levels, programs and projects, and the directors of the six Educational Districts: Santos Martínez of District 15-01, Danilo de la Cruz of District 15-02, Francia Chalas from District 15-03, Eddy Chávez from District 15-04, Félix Monción from District 15-05 and Belgica Bautista from District 15-06, accompanied by the deputy directors.
It also had the assistance of more than 200 teaching technicians, including Juana Cuello, Kelvin Ovalle, Carlos Montás, Melania Heredia, Juleidy Ferreira, among others who cover the six Educational Districts of this regional demarcation.
