74 deputies of the regime of Daniel Ortega and his allies in the National Assembly presented in the ordinary session of this Tuesday, October 25, the initiative of “Special Law for the Validity of Expired Identity Cards in order to exercise the right to vote in the Municipal Elections of November 6, 2022 and Incorporation and Activation of the citizens registered in the Electoral Register».
The objective of the Nicaraguan dictatorship is to reform Electoral Law 331, to 12 days the questioned municipal elections, where Daniel Ortega intends to keep all the mayors of the country.

Said initiative seeks that all Nicaraguans with expired IDs be incorporated into the Electoral Register “solely to guarantee the right to universal, equal, free and secret suffrage,” the letter states.
To achieve the objective that all citizens who have expired IDs, the deputies request that article 184 of Law 331, Electoral Law, be reformed “so that all citizens and citizens with IDs can join the electoral roll including the sixth of November», refers to the initiative.
The same initiative made by Ortega requests the formation of a commission made up of the disputed María Auxiliadora Martínez, the Sandinista Edwin Castro, Irma de Jesús Dávila Lazo, Jenni Azucena Martínez Gómez, Wálmaro Gutiérrez, the liberated Lesther José Flores and Mario José Asencio Flores.
For his part, the sanctioned president of the National Assembly, Gustavo Porras, sent to the commission of a special constitutional nature for its due opinion, which indicates that said reform has been approved in the next session.

It should be noted that this procedure is common when there are electoral processes, since it is intended that all citizens with an identity document exercise their right to vote.
Since 2021, the Ortega and Murillo regime began a hunt against the Nicaraguan opposition, canceling legal entities of political parties that in theory could compete with the Sandinista dictatorship, which has opted to “compete” only with its collaborationist parties.
