Other nationalized
The regime of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo recently gave Nicaraguan nationality to Ebal Jair Díaz Lupián and Ricardo Cardona, former Minister of the Presidency and former private secretary during the government of Juan Orlando Hernández (JOH), respectively, in Honduras. Both fugitives from justice.
Various resolutions of the Ministry of the Interior (Migob) of 2020, 2021 and 2022, published in La Gaceta Diario Oficial No. 111 of Friday, June 17, reflect that the two former officials of the Hernández Government were nationalized along with their family by the dictatorship from Nicaragua.
Likewise, it has granted nationality to Salvadoran officials persecuted for corruption in their country, including former presidents Mauricio Funes and Salvador Sánchez Cerén, as well as the relatives of those politicians.
