The provincial alderman from Tacna Elias Condori Vargas denied that within lodging Costa Rica, of his property, clandestine prostitution is practiced. The place is located in the young town of Miguel Grau, an area where establishments abound for love encounters.

The Police in an operation intervened on Thursday to three prostitutes and two men who helped illegal activity. In addition, packages of condoms and women’s lingerie were found.
Contradicts the information of the Police
The municipal authority said that it collaborates with the investigations of the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office since the information that was required was delivered and that there is a record of the people who enter to stay. The Police reported that the women found using the rooms were not registered in the guest book.

Condori noted that it is unknown what the people who rent the rooms do, but that the bad practices of prostitution are not allowed in their premises. He considers that the complaint would only seek to damage his image for being, as he said, an opposition councilman.
