The surplus from Fonasa are part of a refund of money made by the National Health Fund (Fonasa) to its affiliates. These surpluses are generated when amounts corresponding to contributors and employers accumulate. If you think you may have outstanding payments for this return, here’s how to check.
To find out if you have surplus de Fonasa and be able to collect them, you can enter the link provided by Fonasa. Once inside, select if you are a “Natural Person” or “Legal Person” and then enter your RUT. Finally, click on “Consult” and the platform will indicate if you have a proposal for surpluses receivable.

You will have the option of receiving the refund proposal through a deposit in your BancoEstado RUT Account, through a Scotiabank sight voucher or through a sight, savings or current account from any other bank of your choice.
The payment of the surplus it is carried out directly by Fonasa to contributors and employers within a period of 5 to 10 business days, counted from the date the refund proposal was accepted.
