The deputies and senators of Morena, PT and PVEM demonstrated, separately, in favor of the initiative presented by President Claudia Sheinbaum to reform articles 19 and 40 constitutional, through which it seeks to strengthen national sovereignty and reject interference measures.

In the case of majority legislators in the Upper House, the deployment said that the changes proposed by the president They will strengthen the operational and legal tools to face crime and, in particular, the traffic of weapons and narcotics, cooperating internationally in the issues that merit it, but without allowing interference that violates our sovereignty.

The document, with the signature of all senators of the coalition in the government, stressed that will act in unity, defending the principles of our movement and the political agenda that the people of Mexico ratified at the pollswhile greeted the courage, talent and intelligence from Sheinbaum.

On the other hand, the coordinators of Morena, PT and PVEM in San Lázaro announced a display of written support in very similar terms, in which they manifest: We support and recognize the strength and defense of the sovereignty and independence that President Claudia Sheinbaum is doing for our country.
