From now on, adults over sixty-five years of age have the right to receive a non-contributory pension from the State.
The Mexican State will allocate sufficient and timely budgetary resources annually, “in accordance with the principle of progressivity, to guarantee the established rights that imply the transfer of direct resources to the recipient population.”
The amount of resources allocated may not be reduced, in real terms, with respect to what was allocated in the immediately preceding fiscal year.

With the reform regarding decent housing, every agricultural, industrial, mining or any other type of work company “will be obliged to provide its workers with adequate housing.”
”This obligation will be fulfilled through the contributions that companies make to a national housing fund in order to constitute deposits in favor of their workers, it is established in the Constitution.”

The law will establish the terms and conditions so that working people can access social rental housing, as well as the right to own it. The monthly payment of the social lease may not exceed thirty percent of the workers’ salary.
In any case, preference for access to socially rented housing will be given to working people who have continuously contributed to the fund and do not have their own home.
