The Dominican Oil Refinery (Refidomsa) closed December 2025 with a volume of 2,294,345 barrels, which represents an interannual growth of 7.32% compared to the 2,137,895 barrels sold in the same month of 2024.
The recorded volume also exceeded the maximums of December 2015, when 2,210,995 barrelsfor an increase of 3.77% (83,000 more barrels).
- The president of Refidomsa, Samuel Pereyraassured that the team he leads is committed to “efficient and responsible” management.
“The results achieved in December reaffirm the company’s ability to guarantee the distribution of petroleum products what the country demands,” he said.
Re-export license
Recently, Refidomsa obtained its first re-export license for products derived from oilissued by the Ministry of IndustryCommerce and MSMEs (MICM) through Resolution 443-2025.
In this way, the company has been authorized to carry out re-export operations through transport units authorized by the MICM, under compliance with strict safety standardsquality and transparency in accordance with the law.
This way, Refidomsa culminates the 2025 as an integral part of national energy sectorreaffirming its role in the timely supply of fuels.
