On the latter, it will be part of a whole cycle of strategies and sanitary measures aimed at protection from the arrival of tourists, and their stay in rental houses and hotel facilities, certified for a more hygienic and safe tourism.
“In one way or another, all sectors of the economy that are linked to tourism have been working to prepare for this event,” said Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz on the reopening of the airports.
This decision is supported by the high percentage of the Cuban population that is already protected from the new coronavirus, to the point that a first group, especially health personnel a few days ago, already received their booster dose, in total, their fourth. .
According to the strategy for the development of Cuban vaccines of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba (MINSAP), at the end of this November 12, they had “8 307 956 people complete vaccination scheme, which represents 74.3 percent of the population. Cuban ”.
