Recovery work continues in Caracas Metro stations

This Saturday, the recovery and beautification work of the Caricuao station, of Line 2 of the Caracas Metro System, continues as part of the plan The Metro Moves With You.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, the president of the Caracas Metro System, Juan Du Boulay, indicated that maintenance work was carried out in internal and external areas, with the collaboration of workers from the Bolivariana de Aeropuertos (BAER).

“We started this #Saturday#10September reporting the progress of the Action Plan #ElMetroSeMoeveContigo and from the station #Caricuao @BAERVenezuela executed activities for corrective maintenance in internal and external areas. We keep working for the @metro_caracas!” he wrote on the social network.

Similarly, Boulay explained that the first stage of rehabilitation at the Zoo metro station was completed, with a day of cleaning and weeding.

«This was the first part of the rehabilitation process of the station #Zoo by our comrades @FONA_oficial With state entities and companies and the participation of the #WorkingClass We keep moving forward,” he stressed on the social network.

The works in Plaza Venezuela, meanwhile, are carried out by the workers of the Metro system, together with crews from the Bank of Venezuela.

«The work of the sponsors who recover the stations of the @metro_caracas for the benefit of the user people, in #PlazaVenezuela the @BcodeVenezuela undertakes to support the plan #ElMetroSeMoeveContigo created by the president @NicolasMaduro“, wrote the Caracas Metro system on its Twitter account.

Bolipuertos workers, for their part, contribute to the cleaning day inside and outside the Artigas Metro station, to provide facilities in good condition.

It should be remembered that, last week, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, launched the Metro Plan It moves with you! , a strategy to strengthen the metro service in all its aspects.

For the total recovery of this transportation system, the Venezuelan head of state approved 150 million dollars and 16 million euros for rail investment.

Similarly, to carry out the cleaning days of the Metro System, 365 cleaning operators remain deployed in the 48 Metro stations.

Meanwhile, more than 140 workers are in charge of reengineering, replacement of parts and maintenance.
