Recognize the most prominent politicians 2021

Political leaders of various parties and officials of the central, legislative and municipal governments were recognized in the framework of the “Politician of the Year 2021” award.

In the event, Samuel Pereyra Rojas, administrator of the Reserve Bank, was distinguished as the most outstanding official of the year; the Director of Customs and Secretary of Finance of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), Eduardo (Yayo) Sanz Lovatón, as politician of the year; Carolina Mejía, as the most prominent mayor and Omar Fernández, as the 2021 deputy. The senator of San Cristóbal, Franklin Rodríguez, was recognized as the most supportive legislator in the past year and Dionis Sánchz, from Pedernales, as the most prominent of the southern region.
Likewise, Alfredo Pacheco, president of the Chamber of Deputies, was recognized for his political career; José del Castillo Saviñón, most prominent senator; and the ministers of Environment and Natural Resources, Orlando Jorge Mera; Deligne Ascensión, from Public Works and Communications and Carlos Bonilla from Housing and Buildings, in the lines of quality and government innovation, transparency and efficiency, respectively.

Wellington Arnaud, director of the National Institute of Drinking Water and Sewerage (INAPA), as the most admired official; Felipe (Fellito) Subervi, president of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) in the capital and director of the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewer Corporation (CAASD), as the most prominent politician in the District and Jean Luis Rodríguez, director of the Port Authority Dominicana in the category transparency, quality and innovation in public administration. While the deputies to the National Congress for the National District José Horacio Rodríguez and Orlando Jorge Villegas were distinguished as the most outstanding young man of the year and professional profile, respectively. In the Political Image category, Miguel Vásquez Peña, former candidate, and legislators Charlene Canaán from the Hermanas Mirabal province and Priscila D’Oleo from the María Trinidad Sánchez province received distinctions.
