An intense year for ANDA, various activities were carried out during 2025
In the middle of the year, the Melo Branch was in charge of organizing Somos ANDA, a program that covered different proposals, some of them with specific purposes, aimed at the real estate sector, for example, and others of fraternity between members, officials and the Administrative Council.
At the national level, the institution has just celebrated the 92 years of its foundation and also recently celebrated the 48 years of ANDA’s presence in the city of Melo.
Throughout the country there are more than 265,000 members who use the different services while in Cerro Largo there are close to 5,000, which marks sustained growth over the years.
“In ANDA in general and in ANDA Melo it was a very good year. We had many events, we had the possibility of receiving the Administrative Council and the authorities since Somos ANDA Melo was celebrated” recalled Rosario Saavedra.
“This is an instance where we seek rapprochement with businesses, with institutions, with local authorities and above all with our members” He told EL PROFESIONAL Radio.
“We had activities for merchants, specifically for real estate agencies, owners and intermediaries, with affiliates and with the Administrative Council, some of the Directors, General Management and officials” described Branch Manager Melo.
“They are instances that bring us closer and that help to improve management and improve relationships” he remarked during the live interview this Tuesday, December 9.
THE AFFILIATE IS THE REASON FOR BEING
Rosario Saavedra especially recognized the importance that the affiliate has for ANDA. “We would not exist without their presence.” said. “We turned 92 on November 18 and members are truly our reason for being” he stressed.
“Today we have 265,000 members and without them we would not be in the more than 50 Branches that we have throughout the country” he stated. “Almost 5,000 members are in Melo with the pleasure, pleasure and satisfaction of having celebrated our Branch’s 48th anniversary on November 25” projection.
Precisely, preparations are already beginning for the celebration of the Half Century of presence of the institution in the capital of the department of Cerro Largo.
“In these years many people have passed by, many members, many merchants, many real estate agencies and many officials, some of whom we still see, we are with them, we share moments, with whom we are extremely grateful because they left us their legacy” highlighted the Manager of the Melo Branch of ANDA.
RENTAL GUARANTEE
“We are in the middle of the rental guarantee season. In that sense, ANDA made the requirements more flexible for both real estate agencies and administrators, as well as for future tenants” reported.
With this resolution, the institution seeks to reach a greater number of real estate agencies and owners, but fundamentally many more tenants.
This exponential increase in this service is due to the young people who are going to continue tertiary studies in Montevideo. “When the father or mother joins to give them the opportunity of the rental guarantee, they are giving their child up to the age of 25 the opportunity to have covered medical and dental services in the capital of the country” assured Rosario Saavedra.
ANDA has a modern clinic in Arenal Grande and Colonia with all medical specialties and door-to-door medical service. A dental clinic with state-of-the-art technology operates in that same location.
