Real Tomayapo, eliminated from the Women's Copa Libertadores

Real Tomayapo, Bolivian women’s soccer champion, he was eliminated in the first phase of the Copa Libertadores. In his last match, played on Wednesday night at the Manuel Ferreira stadium in Asunción, Paraguay, he fell 5-0 against Alianza Lima of Peru.

The goals of the Peruvian representative, who for the first time advanced to the next instance of the tournament, were scored by Gladys Dorador, Wendy Bonilla, Miryam Tristan, Anais Vilca and Alison Reyes.

The Tarijeño team had debuted in the tournament on November 4, facing Universidad de Chile, with whom they lost 6-0. In his second game, played on Sunday, November 7, he had also lost to Deportivo Cali of Colombia 8-0.

With those results, the Bolivian representative was in the last place of group C, without points, without goals in favor and with 19 goals against.

Deportivo Cali (9 points) and Alianza Lima (6) qualified to the next instance. Universidad de Chile (3) was in third position, but could not advance to the stage.

The championship is organized by the South American Football Confederation (Conembol).
