Real Santa Cruz and Royal Pari will face each other this Sunday in a crucial match for permanence in the top category of Bolivian football. Starting at 3:00 p.m., both teams will meet at the stadium of the white team in a rescheduled duel of the fifth date of the Clausura tournament of the Professional Division.

This match was scheduled to be played on July 12, but due to the lack of a sports venue, the Competitions Commission of the Bolivian Football Federation decided to schedule it for this Sunday, taking advantage of the league break due to the FIFA date for the double round of the South American Qualifiers in September.

This match is presented as a key duel for the aspirations of maintaining the category, since the penultimate and the last of the Clausura table and the accumulated table face each other. Real Santa Cruz is at the bottom with eight points, while Royal Pari is one step above with one more point (9).

However, the Clausura table is taking a backseat in this case, as all eyes are focused on the cumulative table, which determines relegation. In this, Real is at the bottom with 12 points and Royal with 17, which shows that it is an extremely important match for the aspirations of both teams.

For the moment, if the tournament were to end today, Real Santa Cruz would be relegated, while Royal Pari would have to face indirect relegation against the runner-up of the Simón Bolívar Cup.

For this match, the local team arrives emboldened after beating Always Ready 2-1 at home and in the debut of its coach, Marcelo Straccia, who took over in that match replacing Andrés Marinangeli. The only absence that the white team will have will be that of Jhon Pajoy, who received a red card against the team from El Alto.

On the other side of the fence is Royal Pari, which also has a new coach, the Colombian Jaime de La Pava, who has managed two games, with a balance of one draw and one defeat.
