This year the economic factor in the country has presented ups and downs, forecasts indicate a slowdown and other macroeconomic effects that will impact the country and “ordinary Colombians.”

One of the first touches to the pocket are the mandatory taxes that taxpayers must pay each year.

These taxpayers, whether natural persons, legal entities or national companies, must pay taxes on income, assets and occasional profits obtained in the country or abroad.

It should be noted that the rates for the year 2023 increase compared to the year 2022.

These are the three payment concepts for Colombians:

National Taxes

  • Consumption tax.
  • Rent.
  • Taxation of dividends.
  • occasional gain.
  • Value added tax better known as VAT.
  • Tax on financial movements (GMF).

local taxes

  • Property tax.
  • Of industry and commerce (ICA)
  • Vehicular.
  • By record.

Tax reform taxes

  • Ultra processed foods.
  • Oil tankers and miners.
  • Hydroelectric plants and banks.
  • to carbon.
