10 days before the start of Donald Trump’s new term as president of the United States, the federal government has ready plans A, B and C to address the threats he has made about mass deportations.

With this, it is planned to cover the possible scenarios that arise from the start of the Republican administration, who has also announced that the construction of the wall along the border with Mexico will continue.

To this end, the federal government plans joint actions among all agencies, which includes the actions of the armed forces and the ministries of Education, Health, Security and Citizen Protection, and Labor and Social Welfare, as well as immigration authorities, among others. , with the intention that the expelled countrymen be treated with a humanistic approach and his return is facilitated, reported sources close to this strategy.

Actions on the matter will be presented to the extent that they are required, in accordance with the registered deportation levels.

Meanwhile, in the recent meetings of federal authorities with consuls and ambassadors, the diplomats were presented with the federal government’s statistics on expulsions, which show that the first Trump administration –2017-2021– was the one that had the lowest rate of Mexican repatriates among the last six US administrations.

Under Trump, 766,055 cases of returns of undocumented countrymen were registered, while in the almost four years of Joe Biden there were 891,503 until November.

The periods with the highest number are the two of Democrat Bill Clinton. In those eight years, from 1993 to 2001, there were 7,447,247, that is, 9.7 times the number of repatriations of compatriots compared to Trump’s four-year term.

Furthermore, with Republican George W. Bush, from January 2001 to January 2009, there were 4 million 653 thousand 516, that is, six times higher than what was reported in Trump’s four years.

In the eight years of Barack Obama, from January 2009 to January 2017, there were 2,848,937, which represents 3.7 times the return rates of the next president. And with George HW Bush there were 2 million 656 thousand 701 only in the four years that he headed the US government (1989-1993).

Donald Trump’s government begins on January 20 after winning the November elections over Vice President Kamala Harris.
