Ready, first economic development pole in Michoacán, announces Ramírez Bedolla

The governor of Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, announced the first investment for one billion pesos by the Citelis company, which concretizes the first economic development pole for the welfare of the country.
During the people’s conference of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the governor reported that with this private public infrastructure investment by the Michoacan company, as part of a first stage, the first development pole of the country is launched, which is part of the Mexico Plan.
Ramírez Bedolla explained that this new development pole is located on the West Highway that communicates Mexico City with Guadalajara, has 346 hectares, with logistics and rail connectivity through Canadian Pacific Kansas City, from the port of Lázaro Cárdenas, and is five minutes from the Morelia International Airport, which allows you to have the first -hand customs services.
Michoacán has sufficient and clean electricity, natural gas for the industries and human capacity of the State’s universities and technological institutes, which makes it attractive to investments with the purpose of improving the quality of life of the population, said Ramírez Bedolla, after stressing that this first investment adds to the more than 13 billion pesos announced by the federal president for the port of Lázaro Cárdenas.

The state governor stressed that the Mexico Plan serves Michoacán in an integral way and that it shows this is the expansion of container terminals in the port of Lázaro Cárdenas, the four -lane expansion of the 21st century highway, as well as the construction of the new route that will leave the municipalities of Uruapan to Zamora.
For her part, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo highlighted the importance of announcing the first polo in the country, which already has committed investors and thereby begins a phase of impulse to the development of the country.
While the Secretary of Economy, Marcelo Ebrard, said that with this announcement of the first investments that are being recorded in the Michoacan development pole, what the federal president pointed out is met, that this process would begin in August.
The Citelis company has invested for more than 30 years in the tourist, automotive and real estate industries, such as the Eleva Park Industrial Park, in Michoacán, where national and foreign companies are currently installed such as Oxxo, Amazon and Mercado Libre, among others.
