Candidates registered for the National Teaching Test and who did not take the test on October 26th due to logistical problems at the test site may request a new exam. The National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) listed specific situations that allow the test to be reapplied on November 30th.
Supplementary notice published this week says that requests from interested parties must be made online, at PND system websitefrom this Thursday (6) until 11pm and 59 minutes since Saturday (8), Brasília time.
Who is entitled
The document with the rules for reapplication of the PND informs that participants who were unable to take the test due to logistical problems on the regular date may request reapplication.
In addition to these cases, Inep decided to invalidate the application for all participants from nine specific locations, following a statement from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), responsible for the logistical operation of the exam, regarding the complications identified during the application, around two weeks ago.
Participants from the locations below who were prevented from taking the test will be automatically enrolled in the reapplication and must participate in the reapplication in order to have their PND results published.
THE Ordinance 729/2025 lists the test locations and the respective municipalities where irregularities were found that compromise the fairness and equality of the process:
· São Luís (MA): IEMA Pleno Rio Anil;
· Vespasiano (MG): Professor Guilherme Hallais França State School;
· Santa Rita (PB) (ECI EFM Maria de Lourdes Araújo;
· Guarujá (SP): Unaerp Guarujá;

Timeline
The results of reapplication requests will be announced on November 10th, on the PND website.
Inep advises that a new Registration Confirmation Card will be made available later in the PND System, containing the registration number, date, time and location of the test, in case of approval.
The test, also called Enem dos Professores or CNU dos Professores, will be reapplied on November 30th.
Inep will publish the preliminary answer key for the objective tests on December 1st.
Evaluated content
The new exam will have the same level of complexity as the test administered last month. To assign the grade, Inep adopted the Item Response Theory (IRT), which considers coherence of correct answers.
Again, the exam will consist of two parts: general training for all teachers and specific components.
General training will include 30 objective questions and one discursive question, drawn from themes linked to teacher training.
The specific part will have 50 multiple-choice questions, focused on the content and skills specific to each of the 17 areas of the degree: visual arts; biological sciences; social sciences; computing; physical education; philosophy; physical; geography; history; letters (English); letters (Portuguese); letters (Portuguese and Spanish); letters (Portuguese and English); mathematics; music; pedagogy and chemistry.
Enem of Teachers
The PND represents a gateway into Brazilian public teaching.
According to the Ministry of Education (MEC), the PND aims to encourage the holding of public competitions and increase the number of effective teachers in Brazilian education networks.
Public education networks may choose to use the grades of PND participants as a sole or complementary mechanism for selecting teachers for their staff from 2026 onwards.
In this first edition, 1,508 municipalitiesincluding 18 capitals, in addition to 22 state education departments, voluntarily joined the test.
