The probabilities of failures in the execution of projects in the country, as well as in other countries in the Latin American region and the Caribbean more than a decade ago was 60%. During an interview for today, the president of the PMI Chapter Dominican Republic (PMIRD), Milena Milanova and Edwin OvallesProject Director of this non -profit organization, highlighted that the success of the projects APALANCA The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agreed with the United Nations Organization (UN).

They indicated that PMIRD has more than 700 certified members, plus the potential executives that lead projects at the corporate and state level.

In that sense, they stressed that having professionals with strategic planning skills allows us to add value, effectiveness and good project implementations.

They added that it is a chained impact that begins with the preparation of human resources and public and private organizations achieved sustainability.

In a world where projects represent more than 25% of global GDP, project management is the engine that transforms visions into social and economic impact, they said.

Congress

He PMI Dominican Republic Chapter (PMIRD) He announced the celebration of the XV International Congress of Project Management PMIRD 2025, under the LEMECT Elevate motto.

For this edition, Congress will feature the participation of Pierre Le Manh, president & CEO of PMI, who will bring a global and strategic vision to raise project management to new levels.

During the Congress, workshops and conferences will be held that will allow attendees to obtain points to raise their qualification. It will feature presentations from national and international experts.
