Government authorities, bankers and Dominican businessmen are already in Madrid to participate in the forty-fifth edition of the International Tourism Fair (Fitur)a space that brings together professionals from the tourism industry and generates, every year, important results for the Dominican Republic and its different tourist centers.

“I think that this year we are going to exceed investment expectations again. The number of high-end, highest-level hotels – which are what they call more than five stars – are going to be announced. The Reserve Bank announced yesterday that, within the framework of Fitur 2025, it signed an agreement with the De Valle Group for the construction of the Days Inn by Windham Hotel in Juan Dolio, a key investment that seeks to consolidate this strategic area near the capital as a reference tourist destination.
As part of the agreement, the financial entity approved financing of 6 million dollars for the work, which has already reached 65% progress in its gray phase, and whose total investment is 12.6 million dollars.
The agreement was signed by the executive president of Banreservas, Samuel Pereyra and Edward del Valle II, president of Grupo Valle.
For its part, the Oasis Group announced that it will build a 500-room hotel in Miches, which will be located on the first line of Playa Esmeralda.
This is part of the Maralda project, by the company Nader Enterprises, which is conceived as a tourist offer that combines luxury and sustainability in more than 8 million square meters.
