The executive director of Anses, Fernanda Ravertawarned this Wednesday in Corrientes that there are almost 800,000 people from all over the country who will not be able to retire this year if the opposition does not deal with the law on payment of pension debt.
“It is a very serious situation: there are almost 800,000 people throughout the country; they are men and women who may have contributed 20 or 25 years and will not be able to retire,” Raverta warned at the Corrientes city of Ituzaingó, where he inaugurated an office of Anses.
The official, who highlighted that the opposition blocs in Congress against the pension regulation harm 21,000 people in Corrientes, stated that “They will not be able to retire because this law is not in force, since the opposition deputies did not come down to session in December.”
“That is why we need this law to be discussed and the deputies who previously decided not to discuss it now do so,” he stressed.

The new Anses office in Ituzaingó is a 240-square-meter building, built on land ceded by the Yacyretá Binational Entity, whose president of the Board of Directors, Ana Almirón, highlighted that “behind each Anses procedure there is a life story, there is a family problem, and especially in the most vulnerable sectors.”

“This is the national management that makes us proud, it is the national management that we want for the Correntinas, first the people and not the leaders, that those of the opposition understand that we are here managing for the most vulnerable people, from a State Nacional present today in this office in Anses,” said the former senator.
Since 2021 and so far this year, the pension agency has opened 64 offices and valued 45 more, while it is currently carrying out 29 simultaneous works throughout the country, the agency reported.
