The governor of Catamarca, Raúl Jalil, assured this Friday that from that province they “accompany” the decisions of President Alberto Fernández and considered “wise” the announcement of the unification of the Ministries of Economy, Development and Production and Agriculture under the management of the current head of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa.
In statements to Télam Radio, Jalil expressed that “we are experiencing a very delicate moment in the history of humanity and the measures must be taken in the midst of a war, in the post-pandemic and in Catamarca we accompany the decisions of the President.”
Referring in particular to the decision of the Executive Power to unify the portfolios of Economy, Productive Development and Agriculture in a single ministry, Jalil considered the announcement as “very wise” and added that “Catamarca is experiencing full employment, with Previaje we are at 100 percent and with a lot of public works and investment in mining.” In this sense, he evaluated that “the resources to stabilize the macroeconomy” will emerge from the mining sector.
The Catamarca president insisted: “We accompany this stage (in allusion to the appointment in the cabinet of Sergio Massa) and I always say that the President who has invested the most in Catamarca is Alberto Fernández.”
Speaking of the economic situation in his province, he stressed that “thanks to policies on textiles, public works, mining and tourism we are at 3.2 percent unemployment.”
For deputy Litza, Massa’s arrival in the Cabinet “will greatly benefit the country”
The director of the School of Government and Public Policies of the Renovating Front and national deputy of the FdT, Monica Litzaconsidered today that the incorporation of Sergio Massa to the national Cabinet “is a measure that will surely benefit the country greatly”.
