Ramos Allup asks extremism to leave the 2015 AN chapter behind

The extreme right leader Henry Ramos Allup said that the opposition to the government must leave behind the chapter of the defunct National Assembly of 2015, an instance sponsored by destabilizing interests of the Venezuelan institutions, inside and outside our country.

Ramos Allup made his opinion known in a message spread through social networks, in which he agreed with what was expressed days ago by the Secretary General of Un Nuevo Tiempo, Angelo Palmieri, who urged that the cycle of that parliament elected 9 years ago.

“Certainly Angelo Palmieri. The AN 2015 was elected on December 6, 2015, its period of validity began on January 5, 2016 and ended on January 5, 2021 and despite all the harassment, it fulfilled it in the best possible way,” wrote the former president of that AN.

Ángelo Palmieri said in an interview with AlNavío that at UNT they believe that the AN of 2015 fulfilled its role and there is no longer any justification for it to continue in office. “The country demands that we fulfill our responsibility and speak clearly and with a view to the future,” he stated.

On December 23, the National Assembly decided to request the Attorney General of the Republic to apply the Liberator Simón Bolívar Law against the Imperialist Blockade of the former deputies of the defunct parliament of 2015.

The president of Parliament, deputy Jorge Rodríguez, presented a letter sent by opposition leaders related to the defunct AN to the United States charge d’affaires in Colombia and head of the United States mission for Venezuela, Francisco Palmieri, requesting resources for his “functions” .

“What these shameless people are doing is looking for a way for their owner, Palmieri, to approve the money that does not belong to them, but rather belongs to the people of Venezuela,” he stressed.

The investigation request was made against opposition leaders Dinora Figuera, Marianela Fernández and Auristela Vásquez, who call themselves president, first vice president and second vice president, respectively, of the non-existent AN.

The application of the law, political disqualification, asset forfeiture and criminal actions have been requested against these people.
