Santo Domingo.– The leader of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) and former president of the Senate, Ramón Alburquerque, returned to the Dominican Republic on Monday night from the United States, with the aim of continuing his health treatment under specialized medical supervision.
The engineer also arrived in the country in an aircraft equipped as an ambulance, which touched down at 7:23 p.m. at the Doctor Joaquín Balaguer International Airport, in El Higüero, according to data provided by sources close to his environment.
Upon his arrival, Alburquerque was received by family and friends, who accompanied him during his transfer to the Center for Diagnosis and Advanced Medicine and Telemedicine (CEDIMAT), in the Plaza de la Salud, where he will remain under evaluation and clinical monitoring.

Although no details have been offered about his condition, it was reported that his return to the country responds exclusively to the need to continue his medical process in Dominican territory.
Ramón Alburquerque is a historical figure in national politics, with an extensive career in Congress and in the leadership of the PRM.
