Bidding opens today
The proposals of the companies that were presented to the International Call for the Construction of the Rambla Juana de Ibarbouroou will be known today.
The call made by the then mayor José Yurramendi, was formulated on an amount of 6,095,736 dollars, which will be financed through the Subnational Development and Management Program (PDGSIII) that finances the IDB, with a counterpart of the Intendencia de Cerro Largo.
The offers will be known in the act of opening the tender, which with the presence of the Mayor Fernando Gamarra, will be carried out at 11.00, at the Cultural Center of Justino Muníz Street 528.
Knowing the different offers, the Special Advisory Commission of Evaluations will begin, composed of Dr. Jacqueline Gay Balmáz, Cr. Mario Alves, and architect Federico Ávila.
Subsequently and once the report is issued and after the work is awarded, it is estimated that the works will begin in the second half of 2025, within the stipulated deadlines.
