From the morning hours, cloudy developments accompanied by showers and distant thunderstorms are expected, especially towards the Caribbean coast and the northeast and southwest regions.
As the day progresses, local downpours, thunderstorms and gusts of wind are expected to affect much of the national territory.
The provinces most vulnerable to these conditions are La Altagracia, Hato Mayor, Duarte, Espaillat, María Trinidad Sánchez, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, Santiago, Santiago Rodríguez, San Juan de la Maguana, San José de Ocoa, Pedernales and Independencia, among others. .
