Rains in CDMX generate chaos; Metro stops service in several stations

Adrián Rubalcava, director of the Metro, reported that the line A operates provisionally between Pantitlán and Guelatao, while the section of Peñón Viejo to La Paz remains suspended by water entry from the outside. In the Mayor’s Office Benito Juárez, a flood was reported at the crossroads of Dr. José María Vértiz and Viaduct President Miguel Alemán, in the Piedad Narvarte neighborhood.

In Tlalpan, the Heroes de Padierna neighborhood presented water accumulations on Tekal and Cancun streets, as well as in Izamal and Tenosique.

In Iztapalapa, the Titla bridge and Calzada Ermita Iztapalapa, at the height of the San Lucas neighborhood, also registered consideration waterlogging.
